In my current job, I’m most interested in finding out how Lego ability relates to spatial skills and maths, because this could meant that just by teaching kids how to build Lego better, we could improve their maths skills! A lot of kids really struggle with maths so if this is true, it could be really cool.

In my current work I’m really interested in how neuroscience is being used (or misused) to in trying to explain or understanding why children do or say certain things. Neuroscience information can sometimes seem very ‘real’ and hard to challenge or question, and I think we need to be careful about how we use it.
