      Hi Tasneem!

      Thanks for taking the time to ask a good question. I would like to further my research in autism and in girls/young females particularly. My thesis was around the inclusion for children with autism in mainstream schools and what works so I would want to extend that by thinking about support for girls on the autistic spectrum and how best to support them.

      I am also interested in children who are in care and how best to support them. I find the research into early childhood trauma and neuroscience, particularly around brain changes/chemical imbalance really fascinating and an area of science which is now having more of a coverage and reaching wider audiences – and rightly so! But we still have far to go to improve services and outcomes for ‘LAC’ individuals (Looked After Children).
